What the Brand Says
Attention! This coffee has a sticker on the packaging with a brewing recipe designed exclusively for the Meraki espresso machine. For best results, set pre-infusion on 3bar for 5 seconds. We are excited to announce the release of a very special coffee from Rwanda. This marks the first time we have curated a Rwandan coffee for our World Class category, and the experience of tasting it was tremendous! Its complexity was so remarkable that we extended our usual three-taste-note section to four. The most prominent flavors we detected were granadilla, golden syrup, pomelo, and rose hips. We believe you will discover even more nuances in this cup. This Red Bourbon was grown and naturally processed at Jarama, the largest estate at Kivubelt Coffee Ltd. It sits a few hundred meters higher in elevation than our other farms, with an altitude ranging from 1650 to 1900 meters above sea level. The high elevation, the humid equatorial mist from Lake Kivu, and the rich volcanic soils emanating from the Virunga volcanoes create an ideal terroir for this unique coffee bean. This lot has been ranked #2 in the latest edition of the Best of Rwanda competition and has been sourced by Plotcoffee.Attention!
