Experience the elegance of Laurina, a rare and highly prized variety grown with great dedication by Felipe Arcila on his Jardines del Edén farm. Known for its extremely low caffeine content (only 0.5%), this unique Arabica variety is genetically related to the Bourbon variety. Its short stature and conical shape, similar to a Christmas tree, make it stand out from the crowd and even more so when it comes to taste. The Laurina grows at an altitude of 1,750 metres, under ideal conditions with an annual rainfall of between 1 800 and 2 200 mm. After harvesting, the fruit undergoes a 24-hour dry aerobic fermentation, after which it is stored in Grainpro bags for 50 hours at a temperature below 22 °C. It is dried on raised beds for approximately 190 hours until it reaches the desired humidity of 11 %, which allows the aromas to develop to the highest degree. In the cup, Laurina delights with subtle and delicate notes of lavender, lemongrass, vanilla and fresh limes.
