What the Brand Says

Product Description Producer Felipe Arcila Cultivar Red Gesha Process EF2 (Extended Natural Fermentation) Location Quindio Altitude 1800 masl Harvest November - December Expect notes of Peach, Tamarind, Honey Coffee Story Felipe Arcila is a fourth-generation coffee grower and co-founder of Cofinet, a coffee producer and exporter located in Colombia. Jardines del Edén is Cofinet’s flagship farm, where they focus on growing exotic coffee varieties and trying out experimental processing methods. The farm's fertile, mineral-rich soil, steady supply of rain, and slightly cooler-than-usual microclimate create an ideal environment for truly special coffee. Jardines actually grow Red, Yellow and Pink Gesha, hence the name ‘Red Gesha’ – we’ll be releasing the Pink version later this year. Expect an extremely sweet coffee with classic stone fruit and jasmine florals, alongside tamarind and berries. Delicious! Roast type We don’t label our coffee as espresso or filter. Instead, for each coffee we create a unique roasting profile, designed to bring out the best flavours from its origin, farm and milling method. That’s why, instead, we label our coffee based on the experience it brings to the cup. COFFEE EXPERIENCES RARE & ACCLAIMED: Truly special stuff, from rare lots to award-winning coffees.
