What the Brand Says

Flavour Notes: Star Fruit, Toffee, Baked PearOrigin: Los Robles de Naranjo, West ValleyProducer: Aguilera BrothersProcessing: Yellow HoneyWashing Station: Aguilera Brothers MicromillVariety: Villa SarchiAltitude: 1400–1650 m.a.s.l.Roast Profile: EspressoRoast Degree: Light This lot comes from the Aguilera Brothers and their micromill in Los Robles de Naranjo, Costa Rica’s West Valley. Decades of family know-how and close control from cherry to drying are evident in the cup: it’s precise, sweet and remarkably clean for a yellow honey process. The variety is Villa Sarchi (also known locally as Kenia), a Costa Rican selection closely related to SL-28. You feel that lineage here in the structure and clarity: bright, juicy acidity with well-defined fruit. We’re tasting star fruit and baked pear layered over toffee-like sweetness, finishing long and tidy. We’ve roasted this lightly for espresso to emphasise clarity and texture. Expect a syrupy shot with high sweetness and crisp definition; it also holds its shape in milk without losing that elegant fruit character. What we love about this coffee is the balance of variety character and processing: the generosity of a natural, delivered with the composure and transparency we chase at Fjord. All coffees come as whole beans. If you need a coffee grinder we highly recommend purchasing the Fellow Ode Grinder. 250g €/kg: 83,6€1kg €/kg: 72,9€ All prices include mwst. For shipping rates: Shipping Information
