What the brand says
Candied citrus, lemongrass & sparkling tropical fruits.
Grown, picked, hand-sorted and washed in the small village of Tore Badiya, Ethiopia. Smallholder coffee farmers from Tore Badiya deliver hand-picked coffee cherries directly to the local coffee processing facilities owned by Melkalti Trading PLC—named for the river running through the village. This sparkling yet delicate coffee embodies the incredible coffee quality produced in the Kochere region in Ethiopia. These farmers have hand-picked their cherries before delivering them to their local washing station, where further processing is manually undertaken to ensure Grade 1 quality. This care and detail extend to a meticulous drying schedule designed around both the benefits—and challenges—of the Ethiopian sun. With notes of tropical fruits, candied citrus, and lemongrass, this beautiful coffee reflects the sum of these tireless efforts.
