What the Brand Says
We've released PLUSMINUS ONE BILLION COFFEES this year. Among them were some of the most remarkable geishas we've ever tasted. Here's another đź’… Classy, captivating, and candy-like. This coco natural processed geisha comes from La Llama – a fog-blanketed, high-altitude farm in the mountain valley of Villa Rosario, Bolivia. Geisha cherries are shade-grown, handpicked at peak ripeness, and sorted before drying on patios for 48 to 72hrs. Once semi-dry, they're transferred to containers typically used for drying cacao pods, where a consistent flow of warm air and regular stirring slowly and evenly dries the beans over 55hrs. The result is a complex cup that’s just lovely, no matter how it's brewed—lush stone-fruit filters, liquorice & coconut-ice espressos and sweet matcha milk drinks. - Producer: Los RodrĂguez - Region: Villa Rosario, Caranavi - Variety: Geisha - Altitude: 1650masl - Cupping Score: 88.25 - Process: Cherry is picked at near-purple ripeness over many passes. Sorted & cleaned then patio-dried for 48-72hrs before moving to stationary cacao box dryers for 55hrs where a steady flow of warm air dries coffee to 11.5% - Cupping Notes: So sweet, so tropical, so classy. Kiwi & jasmine, musk & strawberry. - Brew Notes: Elegant litchi & apricot filters. Sweet coconut & liquorice shots. Green tea & malt capps. We've released PLUSMINUS ONE BILLION COFFEES this year.
