> Another juicy boi from Kii. This time a peaberry (AKA lonely mini bean) bringing big sweet, round notes of lime, blackcurrent, cherry, and vanilla. P.S for those that don't know, a Peaberry is the result of a coffee cherry only producing one bean instead of two. If we're getting scientific, the coffee two spheres of a coffee bean fuse together during early stages of production. It's basically a mutation and a deviation of the norm but it is a delicious one. - Producers: Rungeto Farmers Cooperative Society - Region: Ngairiama, Kirinyaga County - Variety: SL-28 & SL-34, Ruiru 11 - Altitude: 1700-1900masl - Cup Score: 88.5 - Pulped, dry fermented, washed, dried on raised beds - Cupping Notes: Lime, blackcurrant, cherry, vanilla - Brew Notes: Grapefruit and blackcurrant filters. Lemon custard capps. Sweet lime shots.
