The Catucai varietal is a cross between Icatu and Catuai, a small and hardy plant with high productivity, making it perfect for the lower altitudes associated with Brazilian coffee growing. Our Itamambuca Brazilian has a SCA (Specialty Coffee Association) score of 84.5, which means it is rated as very good by certified Q graders who perform a coffee tasting process called cupping. A score of 80 or above classifies the coffee as 'speciality grade.’ **About the wave...** Praia de Itamambuca beach is approximately 3 km long with soft, white sand and clear blue water and is known for its stunning natural beauty.
