What the Brand Says
Werka sits at the western edge of the Arsi zone part of Ethiopia's eastern coffee growing region of Harar which is well known for its sun dried natural coffees. However this fully washed coffee from West Arsi is more correctly classified as part of the much larger Sidama D region. One of the hallmarks of great Sidama coffee is the deep complexity obtained through the many different contributing smallholders and the unique heirloom varietals that they grow. This coffee is no exception with its intriguing spiciness and complex acidity.Werka sits at the western edge of the Arsi zone part of Ethiopia's eastern coffee growing region of Harar which is well known for its sun dried natural coffees.
