What the Brand Says

Select roast profile (Drip or Espresso) based on your brew method. In 2019, we were given the opportunity to visit with several ambitious and innovative producers in Jaén Cajamarca in northern Peru. The quality of coffees on display during a local competition between members of the co-op La Prosperidad de Chirinos was beyond impressive and has led to us featuring coffees from this group as our Rayos del Sol ("sunlight") offering ever since. This selection is comprised of lots from the three siblings of the Guerrero Choquehuanca family (Clemente, Jose Maria, and Celso), each of whom operates their own individual parcel. Look for tropical notes of dried fruits, custard, and toffee with a delicate, elegant finish.
