What the Brand Says

- Information - Transparency - **Stone Fruit & Lime** **Harvest: Oct - Dec 2025** ** Country: Colombia** **Producer: Diever Galindez** **Region: San Augustín, Huila** **Process: Washed** **Variety: Pink Bourbon** **Altitude: 1,800 masl** We’re delighted to welcome back one of our favourite coffees from last year, produced by Diever Galíndez in San Agustín, Huila. Once again, this coffee is a beautiful expression of the Pink Bourbon variety, the terroir where it is grown, and the care of the producer behind it. At 87.25 points, we expect it to be one of the highest scoring coffees we roast in 2026. This lot is part of Monkaaba, a collaborative project founded by seven smallholder families and led by Esnaider Ortega Gomez and Didier Ortega. Based in the village of Sevilla, just outside San Agustín, Monkaaba has grown into a network of over 60 families, all united by a shared goal: to better understand their coffee, improve quality, and build more sustainable futures. At its heart, Monkaaba is rooted in community and open access. During harvest, the Ortega-Gomez home becomes a hub for learning, where local producers are invited to bring their coffees for free sample roasting and cupping. This initiative provides clear, unbiased feedback – something many smallholders have historically lacked. Many of the producers are young farmers working to reshape the future of coffee in their region. Through collaboration and shared knowledge, they are building a model that prioritises sustainability, autonomy, and craftsmanship over volume-driven production. This coffee is a reflection of that work: carefully grown, thoughtfully processed, and sourced through relationships built on trust. We’re proud to share it with you once again. - **Price we paid:€14.50/ kg ****FOB: TBC**** Farmgate price: COP $3,700,000 per carga ****Weight purchased: 700 kg ****Purchase history: 2 years ****Importer: Semilla Coffee ****Cup Score: 87.25**
