What the Brand Says

- - - Tropical fruit & peach - Caramel ice cream - Processing: Natural Variety: SL 14 & SL 18 Altitude: Around 1800 masl Importer: Trabocca Rob says: When we began roasting 16 years ago, Trabocca was one of our key suppliers of green African coffees. As more specialty coffee players entered the Belgian market and began offering similar origins, our paths gradually diverged. Now, many years later, we’ve come together again to present this beautiful Uganda single origin coffee. This coffee comes from the slopes of the Rwenzori Mountains, a region known for its fertile soils, high elevations, and ideal growing conditions. Produced in partnership with Agri Evolve Ltd, a profit-for-purpose organisation, 32 smallholder farmers handpick ripe red cherries and deliver them to local collection centres. The coffee is then transported to the Nyabirongo Central Mill, where it is carefully sorted, floated, and dried on raised African beds as a natural process.
