> Passalacqua is ontstaan in '48 in de jaren na de oorlog in een verhitte maatschappij en enorme armoede. Grootvader Samuel werkte als handelsvertegenwoordiger om zijn gezin te voeden terwijl zijn drie zonen Biagio, Yor Armando en Emilio, jong en vol enthousiasme, het naoorlogse arbeidstekort moedig trotseerden. Toen deed zich een kans voor: een oude machine kopen die elke twintig minuten 5 kg koffie brandde waarmee hij een nieuw bedrijf begon: Passalacqua.
