What the Brand Says

Process: Washed Sourced by: Coffee Quest US At BOTZ, we’re very cognizant of our menu’s balance. We, of course, love offering saturated fruity and floral coffees, but we know that sometimes you need a “sugar king” to round out the family. In the early days of BOTZ, we had a few coffees (anyone remember Juan Pablo Guzman’s coffee?) that had candied fruit characteristics, but their predominant focus was their intensely sugared finishes and resonance. When I cupped this lot from Finca El Jardin, I knew the “sugar king” had returned. Strawberry gummies, dense chocolate, and a limeade zing all combined to provide the coffee equivalent of an invigorated sugar rush. Don’t get us wrong – this coffee definitely has lovely fruit components, but we have a feeling that you’ll likely find yourself more obsessed with its lingering caramel sweetness and dense chocolate-covered strawberry finish. Rest assured that when the mega fruity lots become a bit too much for your first “grounding” cup, this coffee will answer the call. ***Please note that coffee orders are roasted, processed, and shipped on Wednesdays. The cutoff for orders is 12:00 pm each Tuesday.***
