What the Brand Says
Deep aroma with heavy body, flavors of roasted nut, chocolate and spicy character with undertones of cherry, lemon and raspberry coulis. Concepción Villatoro Matias founded Finca Los Dos Socios in 1990 and now runs the farm with his son. The name Los Dos Socios translates to “the two partners”. They cultivate their coffee at high altitude in El Chalum, Huehuetenango beneath a shade canopy of Gravilea and Chalum trees. Along with three additional staff, they run the farm and wet mill and currently produce approximately 200 bags of coffee per year. Don Concepción’s coffees have received many awards over the years including Best Cup of Huehuetenango. We are thrilled to welcome Don Concepción’s stunning coffee back to our menu once again. After repose, this coffee is sealed in Grain-Pro barrier packaging at origin and then sent on its way to our Roastery where we preserve the green coffee under hermetic seal until it is roasted as part of our Barrington Green Seal Program© . Try the Dos Socios alongside the Progreso Pink side by side as our Americas Tasting Pair. The Dos Socios is smooth, heavy bodied and spicy while the Progreso Pink highlights delicacy and refinement.Deep aroma with heavy body, flavors of roasted nut, chocolate and spicy character with undertones of cherry, lemon and raspberry coulis.
