## What the Brand Says

> View down the farm at Finca El Quizarra. Carole has a rigorous cyclical schedule of pruning & stumping trees throughout the different plots. Over a five year period, the entire farm gets re-planted. Wood from stumped trees is saved and used for firewood for the mechanical dryers & for mulch. One year old pacamara trees on the farm. The rest of the farm is Catarra & Catuai, but they're now in the early stages of planting new varieties. Think of it like a great modern IPA: bursting with cirtus fruit, creamy body with a soft mouthfeel, aromatic & sweet. We've been purchasing coffee from Carole Zbinden since she first opened her mill, Jardin de Aromas, in 2011. The Zbinden's began cultivating coffee in 1991; the farm, Finca El Quizarra, is on the same property as the mill.
