What the Brand Says

Brazil Yellow Catuai Natural Red berries, chocolate, red apple This coffee comes from Fazenda Taquaral in the Campo das Vertentes region of Brazil, produced by Luiz Framarion Pereira Figueiredo. The farm sits at 900–1200 m.a.s.l. and grows a wide range of varieties, including Mundo Novo, Bourbon, Catuaí, and Icatu, all processed using the natural method. Luiz Framarion’s journey into coffee was shaped by his father, who worked tirelessly in coffee farming despite its many challenges. Encouraged to pursue a different path, Luiz moved away at a young age to study, initially aiming for a career in medicine before ultimately choosing agronomic engineering. After graduating in 2004, he worked in Brazil’s western agricultural regions, gaining valuable experience in large-scale farming. However, his connection to his hometown and to coffee never faded. Inspired by his father’s dedication and resilience, Luiz returned to Ibituruna in 2006 and invested in his own land - Fazenda Taquaral. Since then, he has devoted himself fully to coffee cultivation, continuing his family’s legacy with passion and care, and producing coffees that reflect both his experience and deep roots in the region.
