What the Brand Says

Pulped Fiction is our interpretation of a darker roast, crafted with restraint. Produced from a pulped natural Yellow Catuaí, this coffee delivers the richness and body many coffee drinkers love in a darker roast while preserving the sweetness and character of the bean. Rather than roasting to the point of bitterness, we've developed a profile that builds depth and intensity without sacrificing balance or origin character. Expect a full-bodied cup with notes of roasted nuts, dark chocolate, and caramelized sweetness, supported by low acidity and a smooth, lingering finish. Comforting, familiar, and exceptionally easy to enjoy, Pulped Fiction is equally at home as a bold espresso or paired with milk. Sourced from an association of seven family-owned farms in Brazil, this coffee represents their first venture into international export. We are proud to have been among the first roasters outside Brazil to share their work. The pulped natural process, also known as semi-washed, removes the skin of the coffee cherry while leaving much of the fruit intact during drying. The result is a cup that combines the sweetness and body of a natural process with the balance and clarity of a washed coffee.
