What the Brand Says

Our latest Guest Coffee once again comes all the way from Colombia, this time from Aponte, Nariño. Colombia is an origin we and many other roasters find ourselves coming back to constantly due to the incredible quality produced there. The farm has had great success with the honey process due to the low volume of coffee they produce via this method, the weather conditions are also perfect with relative humidity and temperature being very low throughout the whole year. This allows the coffee to dry slowly, resulting in a complex and delicate cup profile. Within the past 2 decades this region of Colombia was forced to grow illicit plants by the guerrillas making the area extremely dangerous and almost impossible to access. They thankfully managed to join forces to put a stop to this and are now growing traditional vegetables and coffee instead; today producing some incredible coffees like this one, in the cup expect Peach, Fudge and Orange.
